FAQs

YOUR STAY:

Staying at Wild Wolf Ranch is a 2 night minimum, check in at 2:00pm and check out 11:00am. A one time code will be given to you once you arrive for gate entry and home locks. If you are coming in for a retreat check in and check out times will be catered to the retreat’s agenda.

ANIMALS ON THE RANCH?

Can I bring my dog to stay? Of course!!! We always have our huskies on the ranch running wild and free, that’s the best part, seeing your animal feeling free just like you will! We just ask that your pup be fully potty trained and watched at all times by you. Please take your pup to potty in the designated area, and never allow them to relieve themselves on or near the Joshua Tree’s or our outdoor furniture. If you need to run an errand and keep your dog at the ranch please keep the time to a minimum, and use our complimentary dog crate to assure no damage. Our ranch is 8.5 acres and fully chain link fenced in, the smaller ½ acre outdoor space has an addition ¼”rattlesnake mesh for protection. Keep in mind we are in a national park, our land has all kinds of jack rabbits, birds, snakes, fox, coyote and bugs, the likelihood of anything biting your pup is minimal as our dogs are always outside, but use your own discretion as Wild Wolf Ranch is not liable. The local VCA and Hospital information is listed below.

SPA & SOAKER TANK:

The hot spa will heat to 105 max, in order to keep the temp at the factory setting when not in use please always put the lid back on. The soaker tank is kept cool for those warm summer days, when not in use please cover to avoid any dirt/dusk making its way inside.

MEDITATION/YOGA TENT:

Need more then the 3 bedroom house? Can we rent out the yoga/meditation tent to sleep/camp in? YES!!! Just let us know ahead of time and we will set it up for you.

OUR HOME FURNISHINGS:

Wild Wolf Ranch was fully designed by our owner Maranda. She took over a year to carefully design every detail and source special vintage items from around the world. Please take care when staying in our home as majority of pieces from the doors, down to flatware are one of a kind and can’t be replaced or duplicated. If you’re looking to rage, we aren’t your place.

SITES TO SEE:

Wild Wolf Ranch loves the surrounding community of Joshua Tree National Forest, Yucca Valley, Morongo and down to the low desert. We’ve compiled a list of our favorite spots to visit from the Integratron, to healing hot springs, down to great meals and lavender festivals.

MARY JANE?

Yep we are friendly, but please absolutely NO smoking in the house or outside. As you will notice Joshua Tree and Yucca Valley are always in a code red for fire safety- it’s just too dry here for any spark which is why we will not allow traditional cigarette’s or marijuana joint smoking inside or outside. Our owner Maranda also has a throat condition that can’t have any smoke around. Thank you for respecting our wishes.

WATER:

We are in Morongo valley, Mojave Desert, high desert known for its healing waters and minerals. Wild Wolf Ranch is pumped through well water. Let’s do our best to conserve, conserve, conserve to help mother earth! That being said, you can totally drink straight from the faucet with out a filter, the water is a safe and clean as you can get!

SEPTIC:

All bodily waste from Wild Wolf Ranch goes into our lands septic tank, so please throw away all feminine productions in the garbage, these can’t be flushed into our system.

ATV’s, DIRTBIKES and the 2nd Ammendment:

Sorry, not allowed at the ranch, they disturb the wildlife and natural habitats we are pushing to conserve. But we’d be happy to share with you local dirt bike tracks and shooting ranges!

THE RANCH GROUNDS:

Number 1 rule, do not touch the Joshua Tree’s in any way, shape or form. They are a protected species by the State of California and receive large fines for any damage. We have over 75 trees on our land that are likely over 300 years old!

FIRE PITS AND FIRE PLACES:

We’ve got 2 at the ranch. 1 indoor original 1970’s cone wood burning stove that we’ve converted to a modern propane fireplace, and 1 outdoor propane firepit. PLEASE TURN OFF all fire pits and places before going to bed and when not in use or being watched. As you can see its DRY in the desert and we can’t risk a flame not being watched in the strong winds. Also it’s wasteful and we want to minimize our footprint.

WHAT TO PACK?

When coming to the ranch what should you bring? An open heart! Sunglasses, Swimsuits, Layering items/jackets for when it cools down, boots and fitted pants for walking the grounds, binoculars, a great camera and put that phone away!

SOUND/PLAYING MUSIC:

Have fun, vibe out and sing along to what suits you. Though our neighbors are about 7 acres away, we ask that after 10:00pm you keep the volume to a respectful level. Unless your howling at the moon of course.
